Wu Fan (simplified Chinese: 吴 凡; traditional Chinese: 吴 凡; pinyin: Wu Fan, Jyutping: NG4 Faan4), Kris was born Li Jiaheng (Chinese: 李嘉恒; pinyin: Lǐ Jiaheng; Jyutping: Lei5 Gaa1 - hang4) was born on November 6, 1990 in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, and holds Canadian citizenship. In 2007, Kris joined to B.C. Entertainment through B.C. Global Audition held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Kris was formally introduced as a member on 17 February 2012. Prior to joining the band, Kris made an appearance in a video break from Taipei, Taiwan stop of Girls' Generation Tour in 2011. Kris is fluent in four languages: English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Korean.
2. Lu Han
(Chinese: 鹿 晗; pinyin: LU HAN) was born on 20 April 1990 in Haidian District, Beijing, China. He graduated from high school and attend Shida Beijing Beijing Haidian Foreign Language Shi Yan School before leaving for South Korea to attend Yonsei University as an exchange student. In 2008, Lu auditioned for JYP Entertainment's global auditions held in China, but failed the audition. In 2010, while studying in Seoul, Lu scouted by SM casting agent, who recommended him to audition for the company's annual SM Casting System. Successful audition, and he put in Exodus in 2011. Lu was the second of twelve members to be formally introduced, on December 27, 2011. Along with Tao, Chen, and Exo- K Kai, Lu made his first television appearance on SBS Gayo Daejun event on December 29. Lu is currently studying at the Seoul Institute of the Arts majoring in Applied Music.
3. Tao
Huang Zitao (simplified Chinese: 黄子韬; traditional Chinese: 黄子韬; pinyin: Huang Zitāo) on May 2, 1993 in Qingdao, Shandong, China. He is a formal student in Humen Centre Elementary School, one of the most prestigious elementary school in Qingdao, and Qindao High School. Tao is a martial artist, and has been practicing Wushu since he was six years old. When he lived in Hong Kong, he won first place in freestyle rap competitions. Tao thrown to BC through the system of global foundry company in 2011. He is the third to be formally introduced, on December 27, 2011. Along with Lu Han, Chen, and Exo- K Kai, Tao made his first television appearance on SBS Gayo Daejun on December 29.
4. Chen
Kim Jong - dae (Korean: 김종대, Hanja: 金钟 大) was born on 21 September 1992 in South Korea. He joined to B.C. Entertainment through B.C. Casting System in 2011. Chen was officially introduced the fourth member, on December 29, 2011. Along with Lu Han, Tao, and Exo- K Kai, Chen had their first performance on television at SBS Gayo Daejun on December 29.
5. Lay
Zhang Yixing (simplified Chinese: 张 艺 兴; traditional Chinese: 张 艺 兴, pinyin: zhang Yixing) on 7 October 1991 in Changsha, Hunan, China. In 2008, he was thrown into B.C. through a system of global foundry company. Prior to joining B.C. Entertainment, Lay was little local star in China, and made guest appearances on variety shows China. In 2011, Lay briefly worked for SHINee in their concert tour as a replacement for Jonghyun dance. Lay was formally introduced as a member on the date of January 17, 2012.
6. Xiumin
Kim Min - seok (Korean: 김민석, Hanja: 金 珉 锡) on March 26, 1990 in South Korea. In 2008, he joined to B.C. after winning second place in the BC Everysing Contest. Xiumin formally introduced as a member on January 26, 2012
